Rev. Richard Veriker succeeded Rev. John Sweeney as parish priest in Chatham. When Bishop Rogers arrived in 1860, Father Veriker was appointed pastor in St. Andrews, NB, where he died in 1873. Father Veriker lived in this house (St. Michael's Museum) from 1849-1860.
